Alan Horn, president of Warner Bros., will be issuing a statement directly to fans responding to criticism of the company’s decision to delay the release of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” until next July.

‘Half-Blood Prince’ release moved to July 17, 2009

Warner Bros. has just announced that the release date for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” has been pushed back and will be released on July 17, 2009 instead of this coming November. Update: IMAX has issued a statement regarding the change.

Review & video of ‘Half-Blood Prince’ video game

A Nintendo DS review of the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” video game as well as a video are now online. The interview touches on the games, features and once again Quidditch. The video shows Hogwarts grounds and school, Quidditch, dueling and potions class.
